Sawyer Picaridin Insect Repellent - 3 oz.

The 3 oz size slips right into my daypack's side pocket without adding bulk, and I got a full 12 hours of bite-free hiking through swampy trails. No greasy feel on my skin like the DEET stuff I used to wear, which made the long afternoon much more comfortable.

I've been through half a dozen repellents this summer and this is the one that actually got me through a full evening on the dock without a single bite. The 12-hour protection claim held up even when I was sweating through a hike, and I love that it doesn't leave that greasy, sticky feeling DEET doe

The 3 oz. bottle slipped right into my daypack's side pocket, and 12 hours later I still hadn't felt a single mosquito bite during the whole evening by the lake. I'm glad I went with picaridin instead of DEET—it didn't leave that greasy film on my skin like the stuff I used to swear by.
