I was skeptical about adding bulk to my daypack, but this wing belt is barely there at 4.9 ounces and it clips in so fast I didn't even need to take the pack off. Makes the whole load feel locked to my hips on longer scrambles.

At 4.9 ounces it basically disappears on the pack, and the clip-in at the base is rock solid once you get it seated. I've loaded mine with a full water bottle and some layers, and it holds the load snug without any sag.

Finally swapped out the stock hip belt for this wing belt and the difference is night and day—clips right into the base attachment point with zero fuss. At 4.9 ounces I barely notice it's there, but it holds the pack steady on longer hikes. Exactly the support I was hoping for.
