I was skeptical a lightweight cover could handle a full day of mountain rain, but this thing stayed put and my gear came out bone dry. It packs down so small I forget it's in my side pocket until I need it.

The whole thing scrunches into a palm-sized bundle that disappears in my hip pocket, which is honestly half the reason I reached for it when the skies opened up. After a downpour on the ridgeline, the inside of my pack was bone dry—that lightweight shell just sheds the water like nothing.

Used it through three days of steady mountain drizzle and my sleeping bag stayed bone dry inside the pack. It stows down to practically nothing in its own pouch, so I almost forgot it was in my side pocket until the next downpour hit.
